RAD Commutator
A RAD commutator is an electrical and mechanical switching component commonly used in rotating machines to transfer current between stationary and moving parts. It is typically designed as a cylindrical assembly made from multiple conductive segments, insulated from one another and mounted on a rotating shaft. Carbon brushes or other contact elements press against the commutator surface, allowing electrical connection while the rotor turns.
